Abstract:

This module looks at strategies for identifying the learner characteristics and the entry behaviour – or prerequistites – of your target audience.

Estimated Working Time: 10 minutes

Prerequisites:

This is the third of five modules in the systematic design of modular instruction:

  • Objectives
  • Criterion Test Items
    Prerequisites
  • Sequencing of Instruction and Selection of Media
  • Pilot Testing and Revision of the Module

    Target Audience:

Faculty, TAs, faculty developers, instructional designers, educational administrators or anyone who would like to be able to identify their target audience and what these learners are expected to be able to do prior to starting a module.
